VIP Gaming Salon Access
The Mahogany Room and Crown's private salons run on a different register: higher limits, slower pace, dedicated dealers and a room that stays quiet even on a Saturday night.
A quieter room for serious play
Access to Crown's private gaming salons is managed, not sold at the door. Booking Down Under prepares your introduction: we confirm eligibility, arrange the host meeting and set your preferred limits before the room knows you are coming.
Inside, the service changes register. Dealers know the table by name, drink orders arrive without being flagged, and the lighting sits lower than the main floor by design. Your companion or partner has lounge seating, a dedicated menu and none of the main-hall noise.
What sets it apart
Hosted entry
We arrange the introduction meeting with salon management so your first visit starts as a guest, not a queue.
Higher limits
Baccarat and blackjack at limits the main floor does not post, agreed privately with the pit before you sit.
Full privacy
No cameras pointed at the tables, no crowd behind your shoulder, and a separate arrival corridor.
Paired hospitality
Salon dining, champagne service and a lounge for your party run alongside the tables all night.
Every detail arranged
- Introduction meeting with a salon host, arranged before arrival
- Reserved seating on your preferred game for the agreed window
- Salon dining and beverage service included in the evening
- Private elevator access and discreet arrival coordination
Salon entry is conditional on Crown Melbourne's own membership and verification rules. We manage the paperwork and the introduction, but Crown retains final approval. Guests must be 18 or over.
Three steps, zero friction

The room was calm enough to hear the cards. That is what I was paying for.
Before you book
Salon access raises the same three questions almost every time.
Can anyone book the Mahogany Room?
Are the limits negotiable?
Can my partner join without playing?
